On October 23, 2024, as part of the "Prabha" project, the NSS unit of G.V.H.S.S. Koyilandy visited Shanti Sadanam, a home for differently abled children. The students sold products made by the children at Shanti Sadanam and collected ₹25,100. This amount was handed over to the institution as part of the visit. The visit was a meaningful experience for the NSS volunteers. They interacted with the children, sang songs together, and shared joyful moments. The NSS coordinator, Nisha teacher, and Maya teacher from Shanti Sadanam conducted a class for the volunteers, highlighting the challenges faced by the children and their remarkable achievements. This experience was emotionally impactful for the 25 volunteers who participated. It was a new and valuable learning experience for all involved.
