NSS unite program

On October 23, 2024, as part of the "Prabha" project, the NSS unit of G.V.H.S.S. Koyilandy visited Shanti Sadanam, a home for differently abled children. The students sold products made by the children at Shanti Sadanam and collected ₹25,100. This amount was handed over to the institution as part of the visit. The visit was a meaningful experience for the NSS volunteers. They interacted with the children, sang songs together, and shared joyful moments. The NSS coordinator, Nisha teacher, and Maya teacher from Shanti Sadanam conducted a class for the volunteers, highlighting the challenges faced by the children and their remarkable achievements. This experience was emotionally impactful for the 25 volunteers who participated. It was a new and valuable learning experience for all involved. Blood Donation Camp

Blood Donation is when a person voluntarily donates their blood to be used in transfusions or to make biopharmaceutical meditations. Blood Donation can be done for whole blood or specific components such as plateletsThe NSS volunteers of our school conducted a blood donation camp Kottaparamb Hospital collabed with them. This camp was held on 5th November 2024 at school hall. This programe were inagurated by Koyilandy Nagarasabha chairman Ad. K Sathyan. Dr. Nasiya speaks about the project 55 peoples donated blood they also conducted an orientation class to the students. Sports Day GVHSS KOYILANDY August 26, 2024          The inauguration ceremony started at 9:45 AM on 12th August 2024. Every student who were present filled the municipal stadium and welcomed the participants in a positive way. The principal and Headmaster inaugurated the programme by announcing the donation amount collected by the school for Chief Minister's fund.                       The categories for the event were kiddies, sub-junior, junior and senior There were four houses which completed against eachother. By 13th August evening all the events were completed. In Higher secondary division +2 Humanities was praised by the teachers and staff for the participation and approximately collecting the most medals in their respective division

          Freshers Day ,an early awaited event for first-years students,marks the beginning of their existing journey in school. At our esteemed institution, this day is made even more special by the thoughtful and enthusiasm efforts of our second-year students who worked hard for the event to happen. Let's delve into the enchanting world of Freshers Day and discover how the second-year students organize and execute this memorable event The programme was inaugurated by our beloved Principal Pradeep Sir, he spoke for few minutes and welcomed everyone. Later the programmes convener Shaiju Sir thanked students and everyone involved for the programme to happen.
